What Does Our Warranty Cover?

Our 18-month warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship under normal use during the warranty period. This includes:

  • Movement Issues: Any malfunction of the watch movement, including the Seiko VH31 movement.
  • Manufacturing Defects: Any defects related to the construction of the watch, including the case, crystal, and straps.
  • Water Resistance: Any failure in the water resistance of the watch, provided the guidelines for water exposure have been followed.

What Is Not Covered?

Our warranty does not cover:

  • Normal Wear and Tear: This includes scratches, discoloration, or any damage resulting from normal use.
  • Accidental Damage: Any damage caused by accidents, such as drops, impacts, or other external forces.
  • Improper Use: Any issues arising from misuse, negligence, or unauthorized alterations or repairs.
  • Battery Replacement: The warranty does not cover battery replacements.

How to Claim Your Warranty

If you believe your watch has a defect that is covered by our warranty, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Reach out to our customer service team at support@85retro.com to report the issue. Provide your proof of purchase and a detailed description of the problem.
  2. Assessment: Our team will assess the issue and determine if it is covered under our warranty. You may be asked to send photographs or videos of the defect.
  3. Return Instructions: If the issue is covered, we will provide you with instructions on how to return the watch to us for repair or replacement.
  4. Repair or Replacement: Upon receiving the watch, our technicians will inspect it and either repair the defect or replace the watch with a new one. The repaired or replacement watch will be shipped back to you at no additional cost.

Warranty Terms and Conditions

  • The warranty is valid for 18 months from the date of purchase.
  • This warranty is only valid for watches purchased directly from 85RETRO™ or authorized retailers.
  • Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
  • The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
